The Devil And Daniel Johnston

The film depicts the troubled life of singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston since his teens until now. The great value of this documentary is the number of images and sound file that is about it as it had video camera (the one filmed short Johnston playing the same all his characters, including his father and mother) and recorder Audio, with whom he would record his own albums. Having this material is a blessing to any filmmaker, especially considering that at that time was not as democratized the use of such equipment as may be pregnant now because it allows much more to delve into the character.

pioneers and leaders of the nascent punk rock , cemented the foundation of this musical compositions simple, minimalist and repetitive, very simple lyrics or even meaningless, in clear opposition to the pomp and pageantry of the bands who triumphed in the 1970 market: long guitar solos, complex progressive rock songs and enigmatic lyrics. Their sound is characterized by rapid and direct, with influences from rockabilly of the 1950, surf rock, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, the band of girls from the 60's like The Shangri-Las and the garage proto-punk MC5 and The Stooges.
Ramones led the first wave of punk in New York, sharing the stage of CBGB Patti Smith, Television, Talking Heads, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, Blondie and Richard Hell, among others, and serving as inspiration for the vast majority of punk bands emerged in the 70's. As one of the most important bands in rock history, his influence is felt in almost all formations of post punk.

Throughout his career, the Ramones released 14 studio albums and several compilations and live albums, making a total of 21 albums. Despite their current fame, the group only got a gold record, thanks to Ramonesmania compilation in 1988, and only two of their albums got beyond the top 50 on the U.S. Billboard. None of their singles got commercial impact. The band disbanded in 1996 following completing the last show of her world tour in Argentina and then retire in the Lollapalooza festival. Three of its four original members (Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone and Dee Dee Ramone) died in an interval of eight years since the disappearance of the band. In 2002 the group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Maytag Washer Makes Horrible Noise At End

Circle Jerks is a veteran band of hardcore punk band formed in Hermosa Beach, California by Keith Morris and Greg Hetson in 1979. The band championed, along with Dead Kennedys and Black Flag, the California punk music scene in the late 70's.
Since its inception, the group has suffered two breaks in 1989 and 1996. The first of these took place in 1987, after the release of their fifth studio album, VI. Hetson, in 1984 the Jerks alternated with Bad Religion, decided to continue touring with the band Circle Jerks Greg Graffin and disintegrates. In 1994 he met and recorded Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities, sixth album released a year later the market. However, in 2000, was diagnosed with diabetes at Morris, lead singer of the band, so they returned to arrest the course of the group. The following year, after the restoration of Morris, Circle Jerks back on stage and in 2005 recorded a live album for Kung Fu Records, The Show Must Go Off!, Part of the successful series of albums of punk label Joe Escalante.
