Circle Jerks is a veteran band of hardcore punk band formed in Hermosa Beach, California by Keith Morris and Greg Hetson in 1979. The band championed, along with Dead Kennedys and Black Flag, the California punk music scene in the late 70's.
Since its inception, the group has suffered two breaks in 1989 and 1996. The first of these took place in 1987, after the release of their fifth studio album, VI. Hetson, in 1984 the Jerks alternated with Bad Religion, decided to continue touring with the band Circle Jerks Greg Graffin and disintegrates. In 1994 he met and recorded Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities, sixth album released a year later the market. However, in 2000, was diagnosed with diabetes at Morris, lead singer of the band, so they returned to arrest the course of the group. The following year, after the restoration of Morris, Circle Jerks back on stage and in 2005 recorded a live album for Kung Fu Records, The Show Must Go Off!, Part of the successful series of albums of punk label Joe Escalante.
