Atheist Thank God, born in December 1994 in a population of Recoleta (north of Santiago. With four friends who like Punk, Ska and HXC, which were influenced by bands like; Kortatu, Operatin Ivy, Misfits, Ramones, 7 seconds, Santiago Rebelde. The first trials were with more faith than music and without proper instruments. The first formation of the band was with the voice Choco, Moth in jars, Chinese Cousin on bass and Alex on guitar. A few months will Choco, by problems with the trials and the University, goes Bald Fernando, and then removed leaving the post to Moth Moncho.
The band took power, always touching songs. In 96 Chinese withdrew Alex, to form a HXC band, leaving space to Sebastian. In the same year Atheists crosses Santiago Rebelde at a recital in which sponsors and helps make their debut Demo Skandalo, with ten songs.
In mid '98 start conflicts within the band to include bronzes they only lasted two trials, along with this change were not well received by all members, Sebastian migrate and Moncho, who formed a band Ska (Latinos In Choke). Claudio takes the Lower Estrella (Sin Perdon) in Nacho Jars and support Voice Marijuana withdraws shortly Nacho and Juan Luis enters into jars.
With this line is recorded Roulette, second demo with six songs. In 2000 Claudio goes and joins Richard Lower, tested and recorded new songs Siguelo AGD, in the year 2001 is the official launch of Disco, this was the first production of Atheists Self-managed, including 10 subjects total authorship. Atheists has played in various cities of Chile as: Valparaiso, Rancagua, Talca, Concepcion, La Serena and Quillota, having very good reception from the public. Also visiting the Argentina city of Mendoza, where we share the stage with renowned bands from the Ska Argentina (Legendary Mandala, Skavio Metro), taking our music beyond borders.
On October 30, 2002, Atheists shared the stage at the Estadio Victor Jara, one of the best known bands of the International Ska, Ska-p. Opening the show and having excellent reception from the public.
